Proverbs 13:24
He who spares the rod hates his son, but he who loves him disciplines him promptly.
MI: A loving Parent {mentor) disciples their child(ren).
AI: No longer will I let my children {disciple} slide for every poor choice they make. Instead I will discipline the for their actions. When disciplining, I will not act harshly or react in an ungodly manner. Instead, I will promptly and lovingly provide them with consequences for their poor choices, I will remember to attack the heart of the problem and explain why their choice lacks wisdom.
