Proverbs 6:10-11
A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep - so shall your poverty come on you like a prowler, and your need like an armed man.
MI: Procrastination leads to poverty.
AI: Today will be a day of production! I will stop giving myself excuses. Today, I will accomplish something I have been putting off. I will clean the back room, read that book, confront my friend, start my diet, or share the gospel with my neighbor... whatever it is... Today is the day!

Sleep helps to build the body up so that it can be productive. It is interesting that this is today's proverb as it is my day to rest up from the week of long hours of work and helping people. I think it is important not to procrastinate, it goes against many peoples natural instincts...like putting our heads in the sand. We must face the day, and the bills, and trust that the lord will protect and provide if we do his will. So sleep and rest the body, but when the body is done resting and repairing...go forth and tackle something you have been putting off...but pray first.
